November 6, 1907 (Foristell): Mattie Schulz, the eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Louis E. Schulz
of Foristell died at the family residence on Monday evening, October 28th 1907 at 6:30 o'clock from paralysis.
She was twenty-eight years of age and was born on the farm south of Foristell,
where the family resided for many years before moving into town. Miss Matties
was stricken when about nine years of age, with that dread disease, epilepsy, from
which she never recovered.
A brief funeral service was held at the residence Wednesday morning
and was conducted by Rev. Stroetker of Cappeln.
