The new house was started Sept '39 and they moved in April '40
The basement and walls were poured in two days. Herman Freese had made the concrete mixer out of a barrel. Water was in the truck seen on the photo. Gravel was hauled to the site in Model T trucks owned by George Freese and Herman.
