9. Johannes Hold und Elisabeta Lotz
Im Jahr Christi Achtzehn Hundert Sieben und Vierzig, den
siebenzehnten December, wurde nach geschehener Vorzeigung
kreisräthlicher und landrichterlicher Bescheinigung, daß
hinsichtlich der bürgerlichen und privatrechtlichen
Verhältnisse kein Hinderniß im Wege stehe, wie auch nach
ordnungsmäßig in der Kirche zu Ulfa und der zu Villingen
geschehener Proclamation, mit Einwilligung des Vaters des
Bräutigams und der Eltern der Braut, unter Beachtung aller
Kanonischen Erfordnisse getraut und ehelich eingesegnet:
Johannes Hold, des Johannes Hold Dritter, Ortsbürgers und Ackermanns allhier zu Ulfa, mit weiland Anna Kathrina, geborner Eißer, ehelich erzeugter, lediger Sohn, welcher vor der Hand, da er in Nordamerika sich niederzulassen beabsichtigt, auf sein Ortsbürgerrecht zu Ulfa verzichtet hat. Sein Alter ist drei und zwanzig Jahre - und
Elisabeta Lotz, des Daniel Lotz, Ortsbürgers und Schneiders zu Villingen, mit Demuth, geborner Maxern, ehelich erzeugte, ledige Tochter, alt drei und zwanzig Jahre.
Zeugen waren:
1) Johannes Hold dritter, Vater des Bräutigams
2) Daniel Lotz, Vater der Braut
welche nebst mir, dem Pfarrer, der die Trauung verrichtet, gegenwärtiges Protokoll, unter Erklärung des Daniel Lotz, daß er im Schreiben ungeübt sei, unterschrieben und unterzeichnet haben.

In the Year of our Lord eighteen hundred forty seven, the seventeenth of December, after duly made exhibition of the official county and state certificate, that with regard to civil and private condititions no hindrance stands in the way, as well as the properly made proclamation in the church at Ulfa and that at Villingen, with the consent of the father of the bridegroom and the parents of the bride, with attention to all canonical requirements, were married and matrimonially consecrated:
Johannes Hold, legitimately conceived, unmarried son of Johannes Hold the Third, local citizen and farmer here at Ulfa, and the deceased Anna Kathrina nee Eisser, who has renounced his citizenship in Ulfa, since he presently intends to settle in North America. His age is twenty three years, - and
Elisabeta Lotz, age twenty three years, legitimately conceived, unmarried daughter of Daniel Lotz, citizen and tailor of Villingen, and Demuth nee Maxern (?).
Witnesses were
1) Johannes Hold the third, father of the bridegroom
2) Daniel Lotz, father of the bride
who, along with me, the pastor who performed the marriage, with the declaration of Daniel Lotz that he is untrained in writing, have signed and marked the present record.
