Ulfa. 2, Johannes Hold der Zweite
Im Jahr Christi Achtzehn Hundert Zwei und Zwanzig den Ersten Januarii
(dn 1tn Januar 1822) Nachts zwischen Eilf und Zwölf Uhr, starb
nach wenigen Tagen von Krankheit an einer sogenannten Giftblaß
am Finger, Johannes Hold der Zweite, Einwohner und
Gemeindsmann dahier, alt fünf und fünfzig Jahre, Sieben
Monate, und Sechs Tage (55 Jahre, 7 Monate und 6 Tage) und wurde den
Vierten desselben Monats Mittags gegen Eilf Uhr, christlichem
Gebrauche nach, zur Erde bestattet in Gegenwart die beide Bürger
Johann Georg Jägers des Dritten und Johann Georg Gottwals des
Vierten, beide Einwohnern und Gemeindsmänner dahier, welche
gegenwärtiges Protokoll nebst mir, dem Pfarrer, eigenhändig
unterschrieben haben.

In the Year of our Lord eighteen hundred twenty two, the first of January (1 Jan 1822), in the night between eleven and twelve o'clock, died after a few days of sickness from a so-called Giftblaß (poisonous infection ?) on the finger, Johannes Hold the Second, inhabitant and citizen (with full rights) here, age fifty five years, seven months, and six days (55 years, 7 months and 6 days), and on the fourth of the same month, midday about eleven o'clock, was committed to the earth according to Christian custom, in the presence of the two citizens Johann Georg Jäger the Third and Johann Georg Gottwal the Fourth, both inhabitants and citizens from here, who, along with me, the pastor, personally signed the present record.
