- Henry drove a logging truck and also worked in the Child's store (his sister's family store). He was credited with sparking the restoration of that community's historic cemetery. He was an accomplished carpenter. Henry served in the army in France as an ambulance driver during World War I. He was exposed to gas used by the German troops and his health always suffered from that.
