T45N R3E SW SW Section 6.  1/4 mile west of Hwy 94, on hill above site of Hamburg.   GPS# 696813-428337  Large cedars along cemetery fence.  Barbed wire fence is only half standing. 
Only two stones remain. Visited 17 Jan 1988 by Ken Kamper & Larry Prager.  See p. 93  Gone But Not Forgotten.  Mary Johnson McElhiney also notes that John Murdock was the son of James, Rev. War Soldier.

Today only one stone stand in the Murdock burying ground. Buried there in 1877 were John Murdock and his wife Louisa. John, the son of James, a Rev War Soldier, was born 4 May 1807 and died 9 Apr 1877 at the age of 68 yrs. His wife Louisa Jane (Grider) Murdock was born 6 Mar 1814 in KY and died 31 Mar 1877 at 63 yrs old. Also there was John & Louisa's son James D. Murdock who died 6 June 1888 at the age of 32 yrs. All three of the burials were moved to the Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles in 1941. In 1988 two stones were found there William H. Kinnard born 4 May 1807 died 11 Dec 1880 and John Scruton who died 19 Aug 1878 at the age of 61 years.
