A comment from Patricia regarding two death dates for Samuel Warren Cottle:Cottle Family History book by J B Schwabe has 15 Jun 1921 for death on Samuel Warren Cottle, but the tombstone has the 1915 date. Schwabe who did all his research without benefit of a comupter is usually very accurate, he quotes, "The Descendents of Ora Cottle & Elizabeth Keithley Cottle of St. Charles Cty." by Miss Addie B. Carthrae (a 2nd cousin to my father who I met several times) & "The Cottle Genealogy" by Velma Cottle Musick as his sources but, I would be inclined to go with the tombstone recording, except when I look at my records he is listed in the 1920 Missouri federal census as 73 yrs old living with his second wife Annie Costello. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch Obituary Index has Samuel Warren Cottle listed on 6/6 & 6/8 which would indicated that he died before 15 Jun, ???
