Noted on page 81, Gone But Not Forgotten 'just west of the Geo. Gaty rick house on Mexico Road 3 miles off Hwy 40", in the 1920's all that remained of this one large burying ground were a few broken stones against a wire fence.  The stones of the G.N. Gaty family were moved to Oak Grove Cemetery when the farm was sold.  The house, formerly at Jungerman and Mexico Roads, is also gone now -- a car wash stands there in 1988.   The stone fragments found eighty years ago were probably of the later six stones.  The stone of George Gaty, Sr. is at All Saints, St. Peters.
